WorkCompEDI Status Update: Operating Under New Norms

Currently, we are now operating at 100% capacity in a secure and efficient manner.

At the onset of COVID-19, WorkCompEDI focused on ensuring the successful deployment of its complex pandemic response plan and business continuity preparedness. Those efforts included assessing our internal critical operations, as well as ensuring we met expected external compliance with third parties. Our priorities were to ensure we met the expected pandemic response planning expectations that allow for continuous support of our customers and partners.

We have continued to perform and participate in internal and external Vendor Risk, Regulatory and Operational Assessments to adequately assess risk in this new environment. In order to alleviate the burden on third-parties to verify our compliance with required guidelines, we continue to attain assurance reports from verified third parties (e.g., SOC 2 Type 2, EHNAC-HNAP, EHNAC-OSAP, PCI, and others) so we can limit Vendor Risk Management program demands.

Now that organizations are adjusting to new operating norms (e.g., remote connectivity, collaboration tools, customer service & support processes), we are focused on adjusting our risk mitigation planning to account for the ever-evolving landscape. We stand ready to engage with all parties to ensure our firm is meeting and exceeding industry best practices now and in the future.

WorkCompEDI Status Update: Company Operating at 100%

As the COVID-19 situation continues to affect the globe, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure the health of our employees so they can continue to perform their activities, and protect our business operations through actions such as implementing work from home policies and restricting access to our facilities.

As part of our Disaster Recovery and Pandemic planning, we always maintained a geographically diverse workforce that allowed us to shift work as needed.  While our company’s general flexible work environment policies have afforded key employees the capability to work remotely in the past, we have augmented these capabilities for the rest of our staff so they too can work from home in a seamless manner.

Currently, we are now operating at 100% capacity in a secure and efficient manner.

If you should have any questions regarding our operations or need any additional information, please contact our customer service & support staff at (800) 297-6909, your dedicated account manager, or our general support account at questions@workcompedi.com.

WorkCompEDI reiterates that our company is operating at full capacity throughout all aspects of our business enterprise (EDI clearinghouse, BPO processing services (OCR, KFI, mailroom and print & mail processing), custom software engineering programs and electronic payment services).

The majority of our staff are actively engaged in their duties remotely, while the remaining personnel still working in our facilities are applying industry best practices to limit close proximity exposure and engagement. We remain committed and prepared to support our products and services to their full capacity, and we will continue to monitor this dynamic situation to adjust our plans accordingly.
